In most emerging markets the typical difficulties private companies face in finding funding are often compounded due to limited availability of local sources. In CEMAC the process is more daunting due to nascent capital markets, international investors unfamiliarity with the region, and for locals, unfamiliarity with modern capital formation process. As a result, even when capital is available, arranging financing requires considerable expertise, time and resources.

Our private placement group helps you, our client issuer, manage the full range of activities involved in raising capital privately. This includes evaluating capital raising options, preparing offering materials, locating the best sources of funding, negotiating terms and closing the financing.

In general, we will work with clients looking to raise in excess of CFA francs 250,000,000 and will give special consideration to clients that anticipate a liquidity event, initial public offering or Mergers & Acquisitions, within 18 to 36 months.
